The ChipWerke piggyback tuner is an inline performance module that connects between engine sensors and the ECU of the 3-liter Hurricane engine of your Jeep Wagoneer. It intercepts and optimizes the signals to unlock more horsepower and torque. It does not overwrite the factory ECU software and does not make any permanent changes. ChipWerke’s Stage 1 tune increases the 3.0L Hurricane engine’s power by 55 HP, and a custom Stage 2 software is available upon request. ChipWerke is completely plug-and-play and fully untraceable. HOW DOES CHIPWERKE PIGGYBACK MODULE WORK

ChipWerke intercepts the factory engine harness to alter the stock signal from several engine sensors of the 3-liter Hurricane engine. It recalibrates the factory signal with vehicle-specific software to remove factory restrictions and increase boost pressure. ChipWerke delivers instant performance gains without altering with the ECU itself, making it the best possible alternative to a permanent ECU reflash.

ChipWerke works alongside the factory ECU software, making no permanent changes. This retains the OEM driveability, reliability, and factory safety parameters. You can adjust the ChipWerke module’s performance tune with seven preset levels via the mobile app to dial in the power delivery precisely for your driving style, altitude changes, or varying fuel quality.

EASY PLUG-AND-PLAY INSTALL

The module connects to two engine sensors of the Hurricane powerplant using OEM-quality plugs. It does not cause any permanent changes and installation requires no wire cutting or splicing. The guide included in the package shows specific installation instructions for your vehicle.

The basic things to consider in all applications are as follows:

Turn off the engine and wait for it to cool down. Leave the driver’s door open for 15 minutes while keeping the keyfob at least 35 feet away from the car to ensure the ECU shuts down completely.
Locate where you want to mount the module. Make sure that it is away from the areas that tend to heat up relatively more.
Make sure the ChipWerke harness is not overly stretched and is protected against water.
Make sure that plugs are securely connected in place and that there are no unused plugs left.
