HOW DOES CHIPWERKE PIGGYBACK MODULE WORK

The ChipWerke piggyback tuning module intercepts the factory wiring harness of the Macan Turbo. It recalibrates the boost sensor and intake manifold sensor signals of the twin-turbo V6 engine. The best alternative to a permanent ECU remap, ChipWerke increases the boost pressure only by recalibrating sensor readings.

ChipWerke works alongside the factory ECU and makes no permanent changes, increasing the power while retaining OEM driveability and reliability. All the factory safety parameters stay intact. The basic things to consider in all applications are as follows:

Turn off the engine and wait for it to cool down. Leave the driver’s door open for 15 minutes while keeping the keyfob at least 35 feet away from the car to ensure the ECU shuts down completely.
Locate where you want to mount the module. Make sure that it is away from the areas that tend to heat up relatively more.
Make sure the ChipWerke harness is not overly stretched and is protected against water.
Make sure that plugs are securely connected in place and that there are no unused plugs left.
