HOW DOES CHIPWERKE PIGGYBACK MODULE WORK

ChipWerke intercepts the factory engine harness to modify the stock signals from the MAP and boost sensors on the 3-liter Hurricane HO engine. It recalibrates the factory signal with a vehicle-specific tune to remove factory restrictions and increase boost pressure. ChipWerke delivers instant performance gains without altering the ECU itself, making it the best possible alternative to a permanent ECU reflash.

The basic things to consider in all applications are as follows:

Turn off the engine and wait for it to cool down. Leave the driver’s door open for 15 minutes while keeping the keyfob at least 35 feet away from the car to ensure the ECU shuts down completely.
Locate where you want to mount the module. Make sure that it is away from the areas that tend to heat up relatively more.
Make sure the ChipWerke harness is not overly stretched and is protected against water.
Make sure that plugs are securely connected in place and that there are no unused plugs left.
