HOW DOES CHIPWERKE PIGGYBACK MODULE WORK

The best alternative to a permanent ECU tune, ChipWerke piggyback tuning module intercepts the factory harness to alter the readings from the boost sensors of your N63B44O1 (N63 TU) twin-turbo engine. ChipWerke intercepts, recalibrates, and optimizes the stock boost sensor signals to modify boost pressure, increasing horsepower and torque.

ChipWerke works within factory parameters and does not permanently alter the stock ECU, so it increases the power while retaining OEM daily driveability and reliability. The basic things to consider in all applications are as follows:

Turn off the engine and wait for it to cool down. Leave the driver’s door open for 15 minutes while keeping the keyfob at least 35 feet away from the car to ensure the ECU shuts down completely.
Locate where you want to mount the module. Make sure that it is away from the areas that tend to heat up relatively more.
Make sure the ChipWerke harness is not overly stretched and is protected against water.
Make sure that plugs are securely connected in place and that there are no unused plugs left.
