HOW DOES CHIPWERKE PIGGYBACK MODULE WORK

The ChipWerke piggyback tuning module intercepts both intake pressure sensors of your S5 Sportback & Cabrio’s 3.0-liter supercharged V6. The module runs custom software engineered specifically for the V6 TFSI engine and recalibrates the sensor data to increase the boost pressure, resulting in more horsepower and torque throughout the entire RPM range.

EASY PLUG-AND-PLAY INSTALL

The ChipWerke piggyback tuning module connects to your Audi S5’s MAP/IAT sensors at each side of the supercharged 3.0 TFSI V6 engine. It intercepts the factory wiring harness with OEM-quality plugs, so no wire splicing, cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications are required. The guide included in the package shows specific installation instructions for your vehicle.

The basic things to consider in all applications are as follows:

Turn off the engine and wait for it to cool down. Leave the driver’s door open for 15 minutes while keeping the keyfob at least 35 feet away from the car to ensure the ECU shuts down completely.
Locate where you want to mount the module. Make sure that it is away from the areas that tend to heat up relatively more.
Make sure the ChipWerke harness is not overly stretched and is protected against water.
Make sure that plugs are securely connected in place and that there are no unused plugs left.
