HOW DOES CHIPWERKE PIGGYBACK MODULE WORK

ChipWerke intercepts the factory harness to alter the stock signal from the intake manifold pressure (MAP) and boost pressure sensors in the 3.0 TDI EA896 engine. It recalibrates the signal with vehicle-specific software and removes all factory restrictions for improved boost pressure. The best alternative to a permanent ECU reflash, the ChipWerke piggyback tuning module delivers instant results with no major overhaul.

ChipWerke works alongside the factory ECU and makes no changes, retaining OEM driveability and reliability. All the factory safety parameters stay intact. EASY PLUG-AND-PLAY INSTALL

The ChipWerke piggyback tuning module connects to the 4L AUDI Q7's 4-pin intake manifold pressure sensor found at the top front area; and to the 4-pin boost pressure sensor at the pressure pipe in front of the engine. It connects with top-quality plugs, so no wire splicing, cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications are required. The guide included in the package shows specific installation instructions for your vehicle.

The basic things to consider in all applications are as follows:

Turn off the engine and wait for it to cool down. Leave the driver’s door open for 15 minutes while keeping the keyfob at least 35 feet away from the car to ensure the ECU shuts down completely.
Locate where you want to mount the module. Make sure that it is away from the areas that tend to heat up relatively more.
Make sure the ChipWerke harness is not overly stretched and is protected against water.
Make sure that plugs are securely connected in place and that there are no unused plugs left.
